I use epo-grip on all of my mammal and head mounts. It dries in about 4-6 hours and really holds the detail. For my ear I use the liquid version of the epo-grip sets in about 7-10 minutes. I have never used it on a Krowtann hide or cape but I'm sure you'll get great results.
