Subject: River Bed Scene

I was wondering if anyone had any tips for a realistic riverbed scene ( sand, gravel, and rocks ) I watched Dan Rinehart's video on how to build professional bases, has anyone seen it? Anyways, I'm making a coffee Table with a reverbed scene, and a Brook Trout in it. I know how I want it to look, but if anyone has any suggestions, I could maybe throw them in before I get too far into it. I am not using any artificial water, as I have not practiced enough with it to use it in this yet. I will post pics once it's complete. Pics will include start to finish work in case anyone else want to try this. I am a Fish only guy, and still struggling to get customers. 2 other guys in my area have been around for a long time. People havn't yet realized that there's someone better and more creative. I don't think my work is better, I KNOW IT IS. Thats based on public statements in areas I have fish displayed, and the customers I have had. The coffee table thing is another way to bring in some money, and get my name out there. Anyways, sorry for the length. Hope to get some good ideas for this or future tables/ executive cases.
