Deer in the Sneak position generally do have their ears back,I visualze the easing thru the under brush and tall grass and taking it easy when they are in the sneak position.

Yes you can use the Natural ears but when you mount the ears up on the side cut out a hole around 1~1/2 inches around in the center of the ear on the manakin and put some clay in,that way when you line the ear up over the hole on eac side in the manakin,you can have a place for the natural ear butt to push down into.

Having the clay in the holes will give the orginal ear butt something to bed into. I will just take a manakin tomorrow and post the pics of the how to ok.
