Subject: 8.30's with an 82mm??
In reply to: Jake 's message, "BS. They is already a Mustang in the NMRA running 8.30's with a 82 MM on a 325 BF Goodrich radial." on 10:23:55 11/15/04 Mon

Dude, where do you get your info? There has NEVER been a turbo car run 8.30's in NMRA trim. If you know of one why dont you post his name and combo? I race in the NMRA and am very familiar with what every car runs. The only cars than have run 30's are the blower cars. Why do you think they are changing the rules for 05? They are allowing the turbo cars an 85mm and for the ones that want to continue to run the 82mm they are dropping 200lbs off. This still is not going to be enough for the turbo cars to run 170. An 88mm turbo is what is required to go 170.
