Drag Radial cars have NOT been going 5.0's for 2-3 years! The first one to run 5.0's was Rick Head from Innovative Turbo. He also went 7.66 ET @ 186 MPH at Orlando. The BB&T Car also went 5.0's in the 1/8th at Orlando. Also Note that both of these cars run the M/T Drag Radial

Big Daddy was running 5-teens when he went his 7.90's at the beginning of 2004 on BF Goodrich Drag Radials.
