Not trying to start something but, where do you pay $3,500 for a steel block?? Can be bought all day, ready for assembly with steel caps for $2500. Maybe not for a 706ci
but up to 632. Aluminum blocks are an advantage with weight transfer. Not saying they shouldn't be legal, but they are an advantage.
