::as he woke from his slumber, he noticed the place beside him in the bed now empty, wondering just where Desta had made her way off to today, and he climbed out of bed, making his way to the door of the back room, pulling it open and stepping out into the commonroom of the tavern, surprised by what he had seen. Looking around, he noticed many decorations to celebrate the coming Holiday season, and he smiled to himself, knowing that this was the idea of only one of two people, his wife Desta, or his life-long friend, Alex... He proceeded to work his way around the bar, and headed for the fireplace, now noticing the small and unique stockings and their respective holders adorning the mantle, and he new right away that this was Desta's creativity.... He took a few moments longer, smiling to himself and marveling at her wonderous ideas for decoration... Then turning he made his way back to the backroom to get dressed for his coming day::
