::She'd been home a little over two hours, and all but 3 boxes were empty. Desta pranced around the tavern, with a holiday tun on her lips. A mammoth, 8 foot North American Blue Evergreen stood at the end of the bar, near the staircase. Decorated with antique crystal balls, white twinkling lights, and dark red and green tinsled garland. On top, sat a lighted 'star of Bethlehem'. The crystal balls reflected the full spectrum of colored light, prompting a beautiful display of dancing prizms upon the ceiling. The bar was decorated with pine garland, each upswing of the swag held in place with a large burgandy bow. Every window was lined with bright white lights. The enterance doors each held an evergreen wreath, wrapped in dark red ribbon, and nesting a pair of turtle doves within it's center. On each table, lay a candle and holly centerpeice, and Christmas China was set out on the bar, to display::
::Over by the hearth, was the biggest suprise. Stocking holders, crystal figurines, of angles, held patchwork stockings of different Christmas materials. Each stocking had been quilted, and looked to be quite old. No names were printed on them, but each held a distinct personality. The Fire was blazing. Lights and Evergreen garland framed the hearth, and upon the mantle, lay bowls of cinnamon, and apple spice potpourri. The heat of the fire wafted through the room, carrying the scent with it::
The banister of the stairs found itself targeted as well, as more of the same garland, wrapped in white lights, swagged it's way up the stairs. Antique Santa's sat on the stairs, and a large runner, lined the steps. White carpet, with a red and green plaid border. The center was dotted with Holly leaves and berries::
::Desta went over to the remaining boxes, and searched through them, and smiled, as she pulled out the large wreath, that usually hung within the foyer, at the top of the grand staircase::
"This will go perfect over the hearth"
::And so she set it on the sofa, then picked up a chair, and set it infront of the hearth, readying herself to climb up, and hang the final decoration::
