The small pile of wet rags that lay on the floor near the bed was beginning to pile up, as she continued to nurse Desta's fever. Muted, incoherant ramblings would escape the Lady's lips, and quietly, Serena would hold her head up, just enough to pour a bit of wyne into her waiting mouth. The two small cherubs that lay in the comfort of their bassinets, were now accustomed to feeding from their bottles, and ate their liquid meals ravenously. They gurgled and coo'd happily, as Serena tended them, all the while, hoping, and praying to the one God she hoped would listen::
