::For weeks, she had laid in relative darkness. Only the hollow whispers of familiar voices breaking through, beckoning her foward. Dreamless oblivion surrounded her like an old blanket. Protective and secure. Soon enough though, reality began to creep in, the dull ache in her belly, the feel of wet hair clinging to the sides of her face. The constant chill she felt, as just beneath the surface, she fought the unbearable heat::
::Hazy memories began to surface, as slowly, she started becoming aware. Gentle hands pressing a cool cloth to her brow, lifting her head, coaxing her to drink. Alex smiling down at her. Soft cries of hunger, gurgled babbles of contentment::

::Lavender eyes suddenly flashed open, as she sat upright with a jolt. Frantically, she scanned her now familiar surroundings. The room she shared with Logan. their sacred hideaway away from the world. Her cherished sanctuary, where healing and love began, bringing her here to today. How long had she laid, oblivious to everything, including the two sweet cherubs that rested happily beside her bed, within their bassinets? Where was Logan? How worried he must be::
