Subject: Us Northern boys......collards

I spent some time browsing through your cookbook "Flavored With Love" and really like it. I have to tell you though, us Northern boys aren't real big on stuff like collard greens :)
While my dad likes them (he must be part Southerner), I find greens in general to be horrible tasting, vile smelling, and annoyingly good for you. Do people really eat that steaming pile of green stuff?

Now, I do love to eat. You set me down before a good Southern meal of fried chicken or fried catfish, cornbread, potatoes and gravy, and a big slice of fresh pecan pie I'll be in "hog heaven." Hold the greens, please.

Even with the greens, your cookbook does contain enough good stuff to keep me happily eating for a long time.

If you just can't get enough of desserts, like me, I encourage you to check out my new cookbook "Fabulous Old-Time Cookies." (No greens here :) This great cookbook contains many American heirlooms and old-world classics to keep you happily baking for a long time. Some of these classic cookie recipes even date all the way back to the Revolutionary War! Want to learn more? You can check it out at http://easyhomemadecookies.com
