• He just cocked a brow, gazing at her for a moment before he headed up the stairs to where he deemed her bedroom should be, directly across the hall from his. Not for any reason, of course, it was just a nice room and he thought she would enjoy it. • She pursed her lips and grabbed a less heavy box, following him up the stairs, and dropping her box onto the queen sized bed that should have dominated most of the room, but where the room itself was spacey, it didn't quite do the job. "I have nine to five job pretty much, though I am rarely there that long - I just basically go in to sign a bunch of stuff that I don't really care about." • She nodded a little bit, a slight smile touching the corners of her lips. "That will work until I find a better job... then we'll be able to afford a sitter." There was no way she was going to just stay home and be a "housewife" - it wasn't that she objected to that in itself, but she objected to freeloading, and a small part of her didn't want to be the one stuck home with the kids while he went out and entertained the ladies - he'd made it clear that he wasn't interested in her, but that didn't mean that she had to suffer at his hands either. • She felt bad for her negativity, but the way she saw it, that was her only option. She sighed, frowned, and followed him back down the stairs, closing her eyes against what she knew would soon develop into a wicked headache. She couldn't stop her giggles though - she was exhausted, both physically and mentally - she'd stayed up long nights talking this over with Bo, who wasn't altogether for the idea, but couldn't afford to build a new wing to his house to support them. • Of course Bo wasn't for the idea, he couldn't stand Gabe and the feeling was more then mutual.He didn't think Avery really loved Mariah at all, much less appreciated her the way he should. • She took another box up, following him up - maybe things could be friendly as opposed to frosty - maybe she could keep things in check. Maybe they could make this work without making it work too well. Still, all she could remember was sitting in bed, giving him a massage the morning that she'd told him she was pregnant. There was a lot of history that would be difficult to bypass - nevertheless, she remembered being happy, and hoped maybe being here could help that feeling to come along again.
