• He came in, a little tired from work and definately looking forward to just relaxing but he was stopped in his tracks at the home video's that she had playing. • She had always thought that she had dealt with the loss, during the years with Breckin she had hardly thought about the Cali crew, save when times got bad, and when she visited with Jordan and his brood - it was only now that everything else seemed to be repeating itself that things kept resurfacing that should have been resolved long ago - on top of that, the loss of Charlie had stung her deeply. • She snuggled deep into the hoodie she was wearing, trying her best to ignore the proximity of the two and the feel of her hand against his calloused fingers as they made their way to the kitchen. Sometimes she felt like a young au pair living in the house of an older, richer, married man, but it was usually a fleeting feeling. She grinned and shrugged a bit. • She grinned a little bit, goosing up and tensing when his hands made their trek downwards, but ignoring it and moving, as directed, toward the freezer, pulling it open and pulling out some of the tubs of ice cream. She remembered how he liked everything - really, the two of them were more or less designed for one another. She laughed a little bit, traces of her tears still in her voice, and sniffled a little bit. "Hey now.. I will make you sundaes but.. I just want you to remember that I'm not your kitchen wench." • She wasn't nearly done the loading up that she intended to do, but decided to humor him, taking a large spoonfull out of one of the bowls and leaning ahead to slide the chiled spoon over his lips. She watched him for a moment, her cobalts focused on his, and reached into the bowl to scoop a bit of ice cream out on her finger and dabbed it on his nose with a mischevious grin. • She buffed the end of his nose with the sleeve of her hoodie, cupping his cheek in the palm of her warm hand lightly as she looked at him, her own puppy eyes turning on him as she teased him. Making her way toward the living room, she stole looks up at him, her lips pursed a little, but continued to walk.
