Subject: He smiled softly as he watched her hold the child so close to her body. It was ridiculous that he was slightly jealous of his own infant. "Bet she would be even more fine if we both were in here." He tipped his head comfortably to the side, watching her appreciatively. His voice was soft with his last statement, almost like he was unsure if he actually wanted her to hear him say that or not.

  • She tried to hide a slightly flattered smile as she looked up, raising a brow and casting a pointed look in his direction - the child now asleep, she rose carefully, the antique chair creaking as she rose, and very carefully laid the child back in her crib, raising the side so that it was once again at even keel with the other, before she turned her back, leaning against the dresser, arms crossed over her chest, and shook her head a little.
