She seemed to be making everything difficult as of late. She felt herself withdraw now, as she rose, crossing her arms over her chest easily and nodding - she was ready to go to her room for a good cry. Maybe she could give in, maybe she could make herself veunerable, but that would still put to waste all the effort and emotion she'd put into, or purposely forced herself to ignore for the purpose of protecting herself and her investments.
