Subject: She smiled lightly, tipping her head to the side. "Our parents. They always said he would be the good one." She winked teasingly, looking up as the doorbell rang. "Thats probably Bo, I'll go let him in." She set down the dish towel she had been wiping her hands on, heading to the door and opening it, a smile crossing her lips as she saw her husband. "Hey, come on in, we were just working on lunch." // He looked up, smiling brightly at Ace. "Thought you would be more excited about me being home all day, Ace."

  • She grinned a little, leaning back against the countertop, a dishtowel still in her hands, and surveyed him, swinging the towel back and forth for a moment, one corner of her lips tilted up a little bit. "I am excited.. and I'll be more excited when everyone else leaves and we can just sit and have a glass of wine." She did love having them around, but she equally loved having a quiet moment with him, just sitting in the apholstered swinging bench on the porch or in the living room. Since they had a moment alone, she finally set the towel aside, reaching forward to ruffle the little bit of curl he was letting grow out - he talked about getting it trimmed again, but she begged him to let it go every single time. "I like our alone time." (NT) -- Ace, 18:29:19 06/19/05 Sun
