I HAVE AN 86 FORD MUSTANG AND I AM GETTING READY TO MAKE THE SWAP, I AM PUTTING A CHEVY 400 BLOCK WITH A TH400 TRANNY. I JUST BOUGHT THE AJE K-MEMBER,A-ARMS AND THE TRANSMISSION CROSSMEMBER. I GOT THE K-MEMBER AND A-ARMS IN BUT I AM HAVING TROUBLE WITH THE TRANNY CROSSMEMBER, IT DOES NOT LINE UP WITH THE TRANNY HOLES WHILE USING THE ORIGINAL MOUNTING BRACKETS. IF ANYONE OUT THERE HAS DONE THIS COMBINATION BEFORE PLEASE LET ME KNOW HOW I CAN COMPLETE THE SWAP WITHOUT SPENDING TOO MUCH MONEY.. I APPRECIATE ANY HELP OUT THERE, THANK YOU......

i've been working on my 90 coupe w/406 & turbo 350 for over a year now, almost ready for the track. i also had some alignment issues with the trans x-member. but i ended up figuring out that i didn't have the k-member in square, i had to slot the k-member holes a tad, made sure motor & trans were centered and then the x-member bolted right up. i was able to find a used set of kooks headers made for the swap, they are a TIGHT fit, but work. now just waiting on getting a driveshaft made and roll cage installed.
