I just purchases my first ford, and want to drop in my 406'' sbc and 400 turbo trans, i estimate the motor making around 650 horse on motor and spraying a 250 shot on it, I want to use the 8.8 rear and install a 410 gear, spool, c-clip elininaror kit and steel axles, My questions are what engine swap kit is the easiest to install without hacking up my ride and what suspension works the best on this fox body? my e-mail address is lee_miracle2000@yahoo.com and any help would be very helpfull.. Thanks in advance Lee Miracle....

AJE Kit from Jegs.com you can get everything you need in one kit. I bought the kmember and trans crossmember, but now they have kits with headers and coilovers and basically anything you need. I would save the money and buy the big kit if i had it to do over.

Hi Nic,
What type of troubles did you run into installing the 454 into your mustang. did you have a hard time finding headers? I have a 86 stang that I am looking at dropping a 454 with a glide into it. I would appreaciate any info on this swap.

Thanks.

Hi Nic. Could you tell me the best kind of radiator for me to use? I have a 540ci Chevy with a worked turbo 350 trans. Also I guess I have to measure the driveshaft but is there a company that I can order a driveshaft from? I like Chevy's but a friend sold me the Mustang for a good deal. I had the 540ci sitting. I was going to put it in a Vega but the Vega had to much rust. my e-mail is stribs4922@yahoo.com. If you don't mind could you e-mail me. It will be easier to find. If there is any other suggestions please do. Thanks Nic
