Congratulations on finally being able to get this taken care of,and of being informed on all of the ways to fix it.

Misinformation on the foreskin is usually because of doctors wanting to get paid for doing circumcisions.Helping the men that need it with conservative treatments doesn't make the profit that circumcising all men does.And uninformed parents can cause phimosis or paraphimosis by prematurely retracting their son's foreskin.Leading to more unnecessary circumcisions.

People need to investigate on their own and not just take the first persons advice.
