Author: Anonymous Doctor (Mandatory Circumcision of all males should be law)
Subject: Circumcision

Circumcision of all males should be classified as medically necessary, mandatory and in the vaccine category. Financed by tax payer's money or completely covered by insurance. Foreskin impedes sexual function since the penis is trapped and imprisoned by the obstructive foreskin/frenulum. Foreskin itself secretes Human Papillion Virus and Tyson's Cells, which promote cervical cancer in women and also adhere to the HIV virus. Thorough washing doesn't stop this secretion either, this is why shortly after thorough washing the foul odor of the foreskin returns, that is due to these viral cells constant secretion through the foreskin/frenulum. Foreskin also restricts urination flow and urine retention is an issue underneath the foreskin, which turns stale and unhygienic. Not to mention other secretions also being trapped and turning stale. The unpreparedness of the unhygienic foreskin for related activities also impedes spontaneity. Micro-trauma and tears through the foreskin during the sex act promotes the uncircumcised male to be a disease spreader and disease receiver. The raw glans of the penis also sustains pain and discomfort during sex also contributing to the paainful tears of the foreskin/frenulum. There is also the question of pain by lay people who have witnessed circumcision and are having second thoughts. The fact of the matter is that during infant circumcisions, the most painful part of newborn circumcision is separating the foreskin from the head of the penis. On the infant, the foreskin is stuck to the head of the penis. A probe needs to be inserted beneath the foreskin to separate the foreskin from the head. This is where the severe pain of circumcision mostly is rooted from. Once the foreskin is separated, any hemostat clamping or Gomco Clamping is very minimal and brief for pain. Only the time it takes for the hemostats or clamp to bight in. Once it bights into the skin, there is an instant cease in pain. Once the bell is placed over the head and the foreskin drawn over it and clamped, whatever pain within in the foreskin instantly ceases, since now the clamp has been applied. The foreskin no longer has any reception to to pain. The last part, just a simple scalpel incision to cut off the foreskin and free it is painless. The brief discomfort in the clamp base plate removal and that is it, it's done. The pain instantly starts to subside, because there is no more crying and at the most there's minor discomfort for up to 12 hours. That is it. On infants they heal extremely fast and within a few days it is like no foreskin was ever there, everyone get on with your life. Adult Circumcisions, contrary to what people think, are totally PAINLESS and as elective as getting a tooth pulled. With the surgical and anastetic technologies of now, a complete circumcision of a fully grown foreskin on an adult is done on the out patient basis with no complications at all. Where self-dissolving stitches are placed and sexual activity can resume within 3 weeks. If you are an Adult, and you go to get circumcised, before you know it you're waiting and might ask when the procedure will start, they will tell you they're almost done, just putting on the stitches. The technology is advanced, and Adult Circumcision to perfect circumcision is an outpatient procedure done within 30 minutes and is totally painless.
Infant circumcisions are probably the most painful, but the best time to them as well. Because of the fact that anastetic still isn't considered safe for infants both bio-chemically and physically, as in injections onto the smaller penis of the baby, the procedure is best done without anastetic. Separating the foreskin from the head of the penis is by far the most painful. But the actual clamping and cutting, there's very little and very brief pain. On infant circumcision it isn't the circumcising which is very painful, but the separating of the foreskin from the head, since on the infant the foreskin is stuck to the head like tape, and has to be peeled from the head. If you witness a circumcision the infant is crying frantically while the probes go beneath the foreskin to separate it from the head so it can be retracted. But when the bell is placed over the head, foreskin/frenulum drawn over it and tied to a point, then the Gomco Clamp is applied onto the skin from the outside, much of the pain subsides. After about three minutes with the clamp on the simply cutting off of the foreskin is painless. Removing the bell from the head and the clamp base plate from the clamp onto the skin, very slowly and gently brings forth some very brief and slight pain. But after the clamp is removed, the pain starts to diminish greatly to no pain within a few hours. So in actuality, circumcision is basically painless, but separation of the foreskin from the head of the penis on the infant, so the foreskin can be retracted, is by far the most painful part. Not so much the clamping and cutting off of the foreskin. This simple but extremely beneficial procedure brings superior sexual, hygienge and medical well-being which never wears out or needs to be updated ever again. This is why circumcision needs to be classified as a vaccine, which should be routine and required for all males who are born in U.S. Hospitals by law. Then a great multitude of problems will be resolved. The only thing left to state is that there should be some regulation in who is allowed to perform a circumcision. Those highly skilled operators who specialize in male urinary tract procedures should ONLY be allowed to perform circumcision. OBGYN also would be qualified to perform circumcision as well. But it should be illegal for some general practioner or E.R. Doctor who's got too many things going on not centered on one specialty, to be allowed to perform any circumcision. There must be an emphasis on the procedure matching the training and experience of the Doctor involved. Because then complications will be totally eliminated. Complications in circumcision usually come about from inexperienced operators who fail to assess the procedure correctly, in terms of the technique and equipment to be used and the preparation guidelines being met correctly. When done correctly by a skilled operator, circumcision is brief, effective and highly advantageous not for just ALL males, but also for the society he interacts with as well. This is why circumcision should be re-assigned into the vaccination category, covered by insurance, then be made mandatory and required by law, for all U.S. Hospitals to perform on ALL infant males born in them. This re-classification will solve many problems and issues.
