I have been looking for employment in New York and was recently told by one major library that they cannot sponsor anyone right now. I was actually contacted by them and asked if I could work without being sponsored so I know it is not an excuse. Has anyone had a similar experience or know anything about this?

WHY DON'T YOU GO TO WORK FOR THEM UNDER A TN VISA.THEY DON'T HAVE TO SPONSOR YOU FOR THIS TYPE OF VISA. YOU ONLY NEED AN MLIS AND A CANADIAN PASSPORT.
