The mood is much more hopeful. It's kind of like how the tension lifted as soon as Walzer's jet took off for a faraway vacation. No one in the newsroom knows the whole truth, most of what we learn is from reading this board. Everyone has a different theory. But, the overlying theme is that most people are just happy. Joe B. is trying to get more balance in the editorial pages. Iseman is kind of low-key. He didn't apply for the AW job.
Team leaders say the morning meetings are more lively since they're not shot down the minute they speak out regarding one of Allison's ideas.
