You really shouldn't protect her. She was and always will be an asshole. Do you know how many people's lives she ruined? Probably not. Who gives a rat's ass if she was good when she was focused. And you know what, people were the happiest when Contreras were there. If only he stayed a few more months Allison would have been gone back then. He left before he had to pull the trigger. Allison is a c**t. Don't ever forget it. Her shitty, mightier than thou attitude superceded any sort of ability to be editor. But the best thing is that she left after 25 years with no legacy. No nice write up or send off or mock front page. She worked there for absolutely nothing. And the pain she must feel that her career meant nothing is heart warming to me. Someday I hope I see her in person so I can laugh in her pill popping face.
