Mr. Spencer John was born on July 18th at 2:37 pm... His big sister, Alyssa, and their parents John and Lisa are beyond thrilled. Spencer weighed in at a whopping 9 lbs 6 oz and was 21 inches long!

I flew to PA on July 1st with a plan to induce on the 9th. However, due to my gestational diabetes, his lungs weren't developed enough to be born on the original induction date; so they moved it to the 18th (I was 39 weeks then). I just got home last Saturday (a total stay of three weeks!)... it wasn't quite the plan we had, but everything worked out in the end. He was perfectly fine (no NICU or other complications) and went home as scheduled - two days after we delivered.

We want to say "HI" to all our pageant friends... Skye is working hard on her introduction for AMERICAN COED next weekend. She is really excited and hoping to do very well!!! Keep your fingers crossed for her... If anyone else is going - let us know so we can watch for you!
