O Evento abrange a discussão sobre os novos paradigmas da Biblioteca, a produção de periódicos eletrônicos, teses digitais e demais fontes eletrônicas de informação e a acessibilidade a estas fontes. Divulga as tendências na implantação e desenvolvimento das Bibliotecas Digitais. O objetivo principal é discutir as experiências brasileiras e estrangeiras, criando oportunidade de disseminar projetos nas áreas de gestão da informação e de bibliotecas digitais, facilitando a troca de conhecimento
entre os pesquisadores.
