A Prefeitura de Porto Alegre, através da Secretaria Municipal da Cultura, estará realizando a primeira REUNIÃO PÚBLICA MUNDIAL DE CULTURA, cuja temática será a gestão da cultura em níveis local e global.

Data: 16 e 17 de setembro de 2002
Local: Centro Cultural Usina do Gasômetro / Porto Alegre - Brasil

O evento é dirigido a:
· Autoridades Locais/ Gestores Públicos da Área da Cultura
· Representações parlamentares
· Ongs, Fundações e Associações Culturais
· Órgãos de Comunicação
· Representações da Comunidade Acadêmica e Científica
· Representações da Comunidade Artística

A Reunião é o ponto de partida para a realização da AGENDA DA CULTURA no III Fórum de Autoridades Locais pela Inclusão Social, em janeiro de 2003, que antecede a realização, em Porto Alegre, do III Fórum Social Mundial.
