Red Hot Rumors, Spioilers, News & More! Updated 8/24/11!

Hey Guys,

It's that time again, so grab a Latte and pull up a chair. This past week has been everything I had hoped for. We are finally seeing actual movement within the Prospect Park deal. Actors who were completely in the dark only two weeks prior are finally being approached by Prospect Park. This is the news that soap fans everywhere have been anxiously awaiting. A big thank you going out to Prospect Park for having the vision and foresight to recognize just how relevant and valuable these shows really are. Thank you for allowing this rich tradition to continue and thrive under your new management. Disney cut their own throats by making one of the worst decisions in network history, however Disney's loss is Prospect Park's gain. As you can see, we are legion (millions upon millions of viewers who haven't been tabulated correctly in years due to a very antiquated and unreliable system currently in place). Our beloved shows, which are so richly steeped in tradition, have been canceled in favor of a cooking show and a weight loss program. I genuinely feel sorry for Chew & The Revolution, because as Oprah stated, nobody is home during the day to watch anymore (most likely, the reason OWN seems to be sinking faster than the Titanic). Perhaps not a penny can be made as Oprah so eloquently put it. The millions who DVR these shows are certainly not going to do so for a cooking show and a weight loss program. Perhaps you can all get a house by the sea together once the ship goes down. In the meantime, please feel free to continue to arrange those deck chairs on the Titanic. We are grabbing our lifeboats now and plan to watch other networks after General Hospital has taken its final bow........

On the flipside everything as we know it is about to change my friends. Being a gossip columnist in this erratic climate is like walking a tightrope. Not only am I dealing with shows that are being canceled, which we know will be wrought with a great deal of change, but now I'm dealing with shows that have been purchased by a completely different entity! As my source jokingly stated last week, brace yourself princess and hold on tight, because this ride is about to get very bumpy (more fun for me)! You guys are just going to have to bear with me as we ride this one out together! I think it's safe to say that we are about to get more than just storyline changes now. Due to the new Prospect Park acquisition, casting is completely up in the air! This is going to be fun fun fun (ahem)......

My exclusive on General Hospital wrapping things up in July 2012 to be off the air by September 2012 has made the rounds several times over by now with fans asking me if what I stated in early April has changed in any way, and sadly it has not my friends. I wish I could tell you that a miracle has taken place, but it hasn't. Despite what you are hearing now, Prospect Park will be adding this to their line up once the announcement is actually made on General Hospital. This has been planned for a long time. As a result, many of the actors now realize what's truly going on, and have already begun looking for steadier work (which is certainly understandable). They are keeping up appearances, but most are quite aware as to what's really going on at this juncture (let's just say that many have been rudely awakened quite recently). Some of our favorites will not be transitioning. In fact, we have a few major announcements coming that will reflect those changes here very soon. One is going to really hurt, but who can blame them. They are merely looking out for themselves. More below.......................

Gossip Column Disclaimer That Will Appear In Each Column!

This disclaimer will appear each week. Please keep in mind that these are rumors, and any gossip or rumors found within, are completely unsubstantiated. I know this goes without saying for most of you, but there are many new readers out there as well. So far, my sources have been pretty darn good over the years, and I am truly grateful. It would be pointless to have a gossip column without gossip, so you will find both fact and unsubstantiated rumors within these walls. Also, please note that actors are contractually bound by gag orders. They are not allowed to reveal whether they are leaving or not, until the network gives them the green light to do so. Insisting that actors speak to rumors that involve their relationship with their respective shows, places them in a very awkward position. Please keep all of this in mind as you read my column (which will come out every other week). In addition, I can be wrong, and freely admit this. When my sources give me what they have, it's what they are hearing backstage at that moment in time. They are the first to admit that stories can be scrapped or rewritten, with casting decisions changing frequently. I respect their limitations, and so should you. Most of what I hear are very early rumblings, but I will keep nothing from you either way.

Ravenbeauty's OLTL Dish

OLTL fans will have a lot to smile about once the ink is dry, and the spin cycle has fully stopped. Remember the bomb I dropped on you in my column dated 7/31/11? The following excerpt should ring a bell as it spread like wildfire shortly afterwards:

I'm hearing whispers that a very popular leading man may come to a surprise agreement with Prospect Park if this smoke turns into real form. Fans will be cheering like crazy. Apparently, there may have been a change of heart.

There are a few out there who are very late to this party, but you heard it here first back in July. If nothing comes along to screw this one up, look for the impossible to happen and OLTL fans will find themselves truly "VICTORious" in the end! Cross those fingers, brace yourselves for the spin, but wait for the smoke to clear before making any judgment calls (from what I am hearing, PP wants this deal to work). If it isn't already obvious to you, this new deal with Prospect Park changes a lot that was set to happen through the mouse house. Certain people will now remain and continue under Prospect Park's new roof. The downside is that we will lose some wonderful people as well. This is going to be quite the shake-down.

All is not what it seems! I warned you that Irene had more up her sleeve, and likened her to a nastier version of Helena Cassadine. This one grows darker and more uncertain as time goes on with a possible cliffhanger before the rest of the story is even told. Things that cannot happen now under current management will happen under a newer roof. One very popular long time couple will be reunited in all their glory and brought to Prospect Park under the new deal.

I told you long before anyone mentioned that Bree Williamson was out (before any reports were made on her exiting) that she would be leaving OLTL (refer back to my beloved heroine drops from my May 22 and 6/3 columns). I said she would leave in a shocking manner, and if this story has not been rewritten like so many others, look for this story to begin unfolding here very soon. Jessica is nowhere near integration with Tess getting the last laugh.

As for Robin Strasser, don't count her out just yet folks. Hear/tell Prospect Park may have other plans.......

I gave Facebook readers a nice juicy drop weeks back when I told you that Gigi was not a ghost, and that Rex was not the only one out for revenge. I think things should be clearer now (and you aint seen nothing yet my friends). Hell hath no fury as they say. Jack gets caught in the emotional crossfire of a revenge plot gone awry, and someone appears to be very dead shocking all of Llanview. Brace yourselves, as nothing is what it seems here..................

Ravenbeauty's General Hospital Dish

Months ago, I told you that Siobhan was being taken in a different direction, and that it didn't look good. What a sad reckoning it's been for those of us that really enjoyed this fiery new character before she was turned into a nagging, annoying shell of herself. More to this story...so much more.....

In my last column, I told you that General Hospital fans were about to get a shocking announcement that I found to be absolutely mind blowing. If the damage is not repaired here soon, look for a major female player to walk with ABC's blessing! I'm not touching this any further. Too hot, too soon, however it will all make sense over the coming months. I've been telling you for a while now that September is going to be quite the month for GH in terms of shake-ups. That quake we just got was only a taste of what's really coming. Long time readers know what to expect as I laid it out quite clearly in terms of other major management changes coming to GH. The casting changes that will follow are going to leave fans with their jaws on the floor.

A great deal of unrest coupled with some serious blow-ups have left the climate a rather uncertain one behind the scenes at General Hospital. Trust me when I tell you that there is more drama going on behind the scenes than in front of the camera (and you guys think drama follows me around)! You aint seen nothing yet my friends! I pale by comparison to what is going on backstage right now! Ever since I stated that two wildly popular males would be out at General Hospital, the guessing out there has taken on a life of its own over the past few months! They are bringing back some of the biggest core characters as an olive branch once things are in place. Just brace yourselves kids as it's coming..........

I told you that we had a very heartbreaking story coming up that will leave not a dry eye in the house. One major character may be recast in order to bring him back to town for the fall out. I gave you a major hint on this one already (he may not be played by the original actor this time around). This story will affect many lives in Port Charles......

are killing me with these GH cast hints. All the possibilities that come to mind are not what I want to happen so I'm just going to pretend ALL IS WELL. Denial is so much fun.
