Update from Ravenbeauty (Facebook).

Please accept my apologies if you have left me an email (I see quite a few right now unread by me) as the fevers have made me genuinely weak with thoughts going anywhere but the Internet or Facebook. We have been dealing with a lot over here, although I don't always share every detail with you guys. I try not to bore you with every detail, so to speak, but I know that many of you worry, and actually want to know (I love you for this and so much more). I will let you know when it's time to truly worry, and I admit we are getting a bit closer. All the positive energy in the world cannot get rid of these non-stop fevers, pain, and infection (MRSA won't go away). Tired of constant dressings all over me in trying to keep these things sterile and healing. I think we have enough paper tape, gauze, antibiotic ointments (both Polysporin and Neosporin), Manuka Honey, Tea Tree Oil, and bandages to supply a small army.

We think the cancer is definitely on the move again, and we are doing all that we can to stay hopeful. This is not sudden. We were just trying to keep it to ourselves for the past month or two hoping things would change. Still praying diligently and asking The Lord and his angels for help several times a day. I know that a great battle is going on around me right now. I can feel it. As if something is being decided. It's a feeling that is hard to explain. I promise to keep you posted as much as I am able to. When I am not feeling so hot, you will obviously not hear much from me for a while out here. I know that my true friends understand completely. May God bless you and keep you now and always. Your genuine prayers (real ones that you say to the lord himself) would mean a lot right now. I love you and thank you in advance. XOXO.....

P.S. I see so many beautiful pictures and notes left out here for me, and I do not want you to feel that I am ungrateful because I don't always have the energy to respond or acknowledge them. I truly love them with all my heart.

Hope that your doctor is guiding you and giving you special attention to get better. Feel bad that you are going through such a tough time. Try not to stress as the body heals quicker without it.

I also wanted to say how pretty you are in the pictures you shared. Cleopatra comes to mind when I saw you lying on the couch. So cute.

Dear Raven,

Anyone who has had chicken pox can get shingles. Some people I know have had it and for them stress brought it on. Fortunately, for them it did not last long. Don't worry it does go away. What I do know is that you can use calamine lotion on the blisters and helps with the itching. Check with your doctor he may not want it near certain parts of your body which may include near your port. Hope you feel better very soon. XOXO
