Subject: Raven Update 9/3/13

Hey Guys, Just checking in on my beloved Facebook family. When I say that I love you guys, that truly comes from the heart (I mean it). You mean a great deal to me. I may not always be able to check in as I used to, or respond to every lovely post that I read, but that makes them no less important or special to me (I mean that).

I started to come down with something early Saturday morning, and am not feeling so hot here. I called and left a message for my Oncologists office on Sunday to cancel today's appointment, and to see if we can't simply move it to next week instead (hopefully then I will have a better idea of what this is). If it's the flu or something, I don't want to bring that to him or the other cancer patients (although I would really need to get my port flushed next week, and will wear a mask if I must). Hoping it's some bug that will fly in and out, and be on it's way. I catch things very easily, and they tend to keep me down for a really long time. Hoping this is just a passing thing.

As most of you know already, I try to keep certain aspects of my life very private due to my ex boyfriend from years ago that caused me to get restraining order after restraining order after I chose to leave him. We had to move out of state because of him. It's cost me enough in my life already. I am not stupid and realize that out of the 5000 eyes and ears out here, he is probably one of them waiting for that crumb to find me. He threatened the life of me and my family. The police departments that got involved with this situation made it very clear to me, what I need to do, and what not to do, to try and stay safe. If he were to find me, he would kill John and myself (especially because I have someone else in my life now, which I know must enrage him). Please know that when you ask about sending me money and wanting to know my location, that it's simply not an option for me. When I turn down your lovely requests, it's honestly nothing personal.

I already have this cancer trying to take me out, I don't need him back in my life trying to do the same thing (a very painful part of my past). He was as abusive as he was handsome (and he was incredibly handsome). Made my life a nightmare. I could not even do a new restraining order before we moved, as that would mean that he would know where I was moving to. Woe to him or her that should ever reveal anything that could lead this man to us, and cause us to lose our lives. I wouldn't want to be that person for legal reasons (it's called involuntary manslaughter amongst other things that could be charged as well). Especially when that person has been put on notice, and is well aware of the danger beforehand (a notice such as this for instance or from the interview I gave Soapzone in April of 2011). Just know that your love and support has been enough. You are an extended family for me in so many ways.

Raven you can still be safe by choosing a bank we could send donations to. Choose a big city branch. Then hire an attorney to manage the fund. No one would be able to find you. You are not the only person who feared discovery. It can be handled. let people help you so you don't have to worry about finances. It would help lessen the load. God bless.
