I have been listening to you on the radio and just love and enjoy your show and especially listening to your sweet voice. You are just perfect for doing this. Also, I am happy that what you are taking has slowed things up and want you to keep fighting and never give up. At the same time feel for you with what is upcoming, but nonetheless stand behind you to keep going. Wishing you to heal quickly. It was great to hear from you. Keep touching base. I've never seen so much love for anyone in my life! I had never seen your facebook page before but that was impressive! You have more fans than anyone I have ever seen in my life! You may not think you're strong enough to beat this, Raven, but God is! Whenever you feel faint, turn to Him. Those who expect the Lord and wait for Him renew their strength. They mount up on wings like eagles. They walk and don't grow weary. They run and don't faint. Jesus is very familiar with grief, and knows pain intimately. Use your pain to connect with him--you'll know him deeper and deeper through it. Read and listen to him. His words bring healing, even to our bones! Jesus will lift you up!

You are in my prayers. I don't know if this will mean anything to you or help you in anyway, but when I was online reading up on what to do for root canals I came across a book on amazon that was about oil pulling, one of the reviewers said you can find it online just by googling oil pulling. I read one on the articles on a site and it seemed interesting, it helps get rid of the bacteria in your mouth, but it also talked about it helping other aspects of your health, one of the things mentioned was cancer. It's swishing oil in your mouth for about 20 minutes in the morning before you have anything to eat or drink, the sites can give you more info on the type of oil to use and how to do it properly, just thought I'd let you know.

I've never forgotten a sign a boss of my had in her office many moons ago. It read:
"Dear God, Please help me to remember that nothing is going to happen today that You and I cannot get through together."
It has helped me a lot in dark moments. May it aid you,too.

Hey Guys,
What a horrible week. :(
The surgery was nothing like I expected it to be this time around. I thought it would be like the last time that we removed the new growth. He took huge margins leaving me in the kind of pain I had with the Mastectomy back in October. I'm hunched over again because they stitched me so tightly. Horrible pain that is just now starting to go down a bit. I just wasn't expecting it to be this brutal. It feels like the Mastectomy all over again.
The incision has not closed completely yet. It was bleeding when we got home Monday. Got that under control, but it's been one mess after another. The pain is excruciating. I just wasn't prepared (not for this level). I'm worried about this one part that is still open looking on the incision (this is where the Angiosarcoma pushed its way out of the last time). The whole left side of my chest is bruised and just aches and throbs. Very frustrating to not even be able to take a shower on my own. This is the freaking mastectomy all over again. John has had to deal with a lot. It hurts to move my left arm period. I knew we were going for margins this time, but I did not realize that I was in for the kind of experience I had with the Mastectomy.
Not feeling particularly spunky today. Then I check in and find that I have Timeline now (ugh)! It gave me a few days to publish, but it just wasn't worth it since I have to see Timeline as my profile anyway from the moment they did this to me. I just uploaded a cover photo and hit publish to be done with it.
A big thank you going out to Gary for updating you guys and bringing me that really sweet basket! I'm sorry that I couldn't really talk when you and Dale stopped by, but I could barely think straight between the bleeding and the pain. Thank God for John. He's been getting me through. That was very sweet of you to do this (and I may take Dale up on her kind offer to get me more of those large gauze pads)! We are already running out again! The bleeding has stopped, but have to keep a fresh one on after applying more Betadine (hate this ACE bandage)!
Thank you guys so much for all the sweet notes and emails. You really are a lighthouse in the storm for me. I'm probably not going to be able to get caught up here for a while. Sitting at the computer is not easy right now. I've still got my show scheduled with Erin Torpey for this coming Thursday. Praying that some of this will subside before then or it's going to be a really long show. Not the week I was hoping for. Thank you for all the love and support. It means more than you will ever know. Bless you. I love you guys. I will check in again when I can. ♥

My first post. I have been following your ordeal over the past months and wanted to say how brave you are to share your struggle with the world in this way. I'm glad you have the support of so many others to help you. With regard to your faith, know you are not alone. There is light and hope ahead for you. Trust in the love of God, and you will find peace. May he have mercy on you and alleviate your suffering. You will be in my prayers dear lady.

Been following your progress - praying for your healing - thanking God for the healing on the way - asking God today (and every day) to be whatever you need Him to be - Mother, Father, Friend, Doctor/Healer, Comforter - Whatever. Praying also that your pain will be lessened/bearable. Praying that John will continue to be stregthened and that the Father holds him up as he holds you up. Be blessed - from the top of your head to the soles of your feet - be blessed. I love you with the love of Christ (it's the strongest love I know)
