As a cancer survivor I can only say I am so sorry this nasty vile cancer has recurred ... personally I would get angry and stay angry, I really believe in directing this anger toward the cancer helps .. I am not saying its gonna make it all better I am just saying anger is a strong emotion and you need to use it and stay strong and know that you have the energy of many many people working for/with you while you do what the doctors say .. you can and you will beat this!!!!!!

I have only started reading your column in the last year and have enjoyed the insite and information you have been able to provide to many of us long-time soap fans.
I have been a survivor for 17 years, and am always saddened by news such as yours. You are in my prayers and I am sending you strength to get through the next phases of your illness. Be strong, and cry when you have to!
