Fear not
What lies ahead
Do not look
Upon your future with dread
Know that you were on loan
From the FATHER above
A vessel of uncommon grace
Beauty and love
Your human journey
Would seem a fate
Dealt by the cruelest of hands
Yet, in you
We can have Faith
In what we do not understand
To have been chosen
To give a gift
Even greater than yourself
That will never age
Or be tucked away on a shelf
Is to be used by HIM
In the most special way
And HIS gift to you
You will receive
On that day
When HE stands before the door
To everything good and kind
And says
"I've been waiting for you,
Daughter of Mine"

But until that day comes, Raven, I want you to know that you are thought of and loved and appreciated right here, right now.

May each day build in you a peace that will be a balm for your soul.
