Subject: That surgeon needs to re-take Bedside Manner 101

I can't believe that surgeon actually said that to you, Raven. How awful to be the recipient of such a comment. It's like when people are given morphine while they are in the end stages of dying to keep them comfortable, and the doctor says that he doesn't want to waste time with drugs, because what's the point, they are going to die soon, anyway...how inhumane can someone be? I'm so sorry you have to bear witness to a stupid doctor such as this during such a stressful time. Who is she to decide that you are undeserving of remaining as pain free and comfortable as is possible, anyway? I hope you can move on to a new surgeon with a more humane attitude.

Raven, I know of 3 different people who did not just accept what their dr said sloan kettering dr's told them but instead contacting them directly, two going in person. All 3 of them found that the sloan dr was nissing pertinent information. No one can advocate for you like you can!Do not give up! I have a friend with breast cancer who according to the drs has the drs has beaten 4th stage breast cancer despite their predictions and her dr is writing an article now in a medical journal. Maybe you have this evil cancer to prove other drs wrong and pave the way for for new medical beliefs. I belive in you!
