Red Hot Spoilers, Rumors, News & More! Updated 7/30/11!
Hey Guys,
It's that time again so pull up a chair, and get ready to sit a spell. Fans are still riding that never-ending rollercoaster courtesy of ABC Disney. I've heard from people behind the scenes who are hinting that this deal may indeed be a Trojan Horse. We are in between a rock and hard place here. Disney was in fact contacted by other companies that wanted to buy out the franchise, but they were turned down flat. It would seem that money doesn't factor into their refusal to let our shows go to another network to be broadcast the way they've always been. It's a matter of pride and saving face at this point. They will not watch their girlfriend be happy in another man’s arms. It's rather obvious that Disney never had any real intentions of selling these shows to another entity that might air them on a competing network. It's a harsh reality, but one we need to face nonetheless. They are not going to budge and have proven this by turning down very reasonable offers.
That said, we have been given the only stay of execution they would allow, and that's the Prospect Park deal (and that was only allowed because Disney still gets a piece of the pie and retains certain rights). We have no other choice but to continue to ride out this storm and hope for the best. No matter what happens, many will never watch ABC again once our shows have taken their final bows. This does not change our future boycott of ABC Disney. We are not so easily manipulated, and a great many of us see this deal (and the behavior leading up to it) for what it is. We await the final result of this deal with hope in our hearts tempered with a heavy dose of caution. We won't fully exhale until we have seen the final product (not just smoke and mirrors). Most of us would never consider buying a product we have not seen yet, but we have done so here. Fans are going on pure faith right now. Michael Logan's take gave me hope. Agnes Nixon's words give me hope. We should never trust ABC for rather obvious reasons. It would not be the first time that ABC has snowed their own team before. I've said many times over that they would do anything to avoid ruining Katie's big coming out party (which is why they did not announce the cancellation of General Hospital at that time). If everything gets ironed out and this deal flies straight, then and only then, will I fully exhale. I will be happy to see these shows continue in any way, shape, or form, but I need to see the final product before getting out my pom poms after hearing what I have heard this past week.
Long time readers of mine were not surprised by the news that General Hospital had been included in the Prospect Park deal. I made it quite clear back in early April that General Hospital was indeed being canceled by ABC. That it would wrap in July 2012 to be off the air by September 2012. It's everywhere now, but that wasn't the case when I made the announcement in April. I didn't call it a rumor, I said it was a done deal. I told you that it came directly from the same source that gave me the heads up in January that AMC and OLTL were going off the air. Nobody wanted to believe me then, and yet here we are. Of course, General Hospital is included in the deal (they are being canceled as I told you they would be next year). It is done......
I wanted to address something that absolutely needs to be addressed. I want to make something very clear before I go any further. Most of this is not directed at my Facebook readers. It was either say what I need to say here and now or walk away again. I decided to just get it out of my system here and now, and try to hang in there. My Facebook fans knew that I was taking a break here this past week and why (I had actually intended to skip this week’s column). I have almost 4000 readers on my Facebook page alone who are forever thanking me, supporting me, and making it clear that they know which scoops were mine, before making the rounds, and eventually being credited elsewhere (something like this is only going to matter to the person who did all the work). I suppose it's a glitch in me that I need to work on, when I allow the fewer, nastier, and hateful voices to overtake the many that are soft, gentle, and full of light. I wanted to thank you guys sincerely for being so incredibly supportive and kind. I found myself feeling that pressure again that drove me away in 2009, and nearly gave into it again (hence, the following rant). Shooting the messenger is still the biggest game in town, and even those of us with the thickest of skins, can begin to buckle at some point. This past week was a real eye opener for me. I was astonished at the many e-mails I received from so many of you telling me of the other horror stories out there that I had no knowledge of whatsoever up until now. As most of you know, I am out of the loop completely when it comes to anything message board related (I only know what you tell me of what you see out there). When I returned after my hiatus in December 2010, I promised myself I would never visit another message board again (and I've kept that promise). The negativity is over the top, and not healthy to take in at any level.
When my readers learned that I was feeling some of those old feelings again, and thinking about stepping away, they flooded me with an incredible amount of love and support out there. They also shared things that I found to be very eye opening. I guess some fans will never learn. I was told that apparently there was a wonderful insider out there who gave fans some wonderful scoops on one of the many message boards out there, only to be chastised and taken to task when certain things failed to happen exactly as stated. This individual had given OLTL fans many wonderful scoops, but apparently the last few fell apart and they turned on this person who was selflessly and anonymously giving them what they could. I was told that the person went by initials only, and has yet to return since. Fans drove that insider away as they have driven away so many others over the years (thank you to the readers who shared this one with me). I remember well when my personal favorite stepped away due to all of the intense negativity hurled at him because he dared not to have a perfect score. I was saddened and disappointed at the time (this was before I gained sources of my own and began writing my own column many years back). Sage was always my favorite (a real inspiration).
When will you learn? Do you not understand that there is no possible way that any of us can ever have a perfect score (we are lucky to be 60-40 in this business). Do you not understand that if the actors themselves are in the dark 90% of the time, that we are not magicians with special powers! Do you not understand that no matter how good our sources may be that change is an everyday occurrence in this industry? Do you have any idea how completely unrealistic and outrageous your expectations are? Do you not realize how irrational you sound when you actually believe that we are just throwing things out there to hurt you because we don't like your favorites? Do you really believe that we just guess, make things up, or are trying to purposely hurt you with the news that is given to us by our sources? That if we are told anything by our sources that you could have guessed, this cannot be considered a scoop, because you might have guessed it (there would be no reporters or gossip columns based on this insane premise)! Some of you need a serious reality check. These are all rhetorical questions as those of you who perpetuate this nonsense and create this type of negative climate, obviously don't care what makes sense (that much is apparent). There is a great deal of agenda out there muddying up the waters. Sometimes it can be as simple as unfriending a few troublemakers, and suddenly I am "unreliable and never right.” I was wonderful until I deleted them (hell hath no fury like a Facebook friend deleted)! LOL! In addition, people wonder why soap fans have the reputation of being a little off.
If you don't want to drive away every last one of us, an attitude adjustment needs to made out there. You have very few of us left. If you want to wait for the magazines to announce things, and not get the early heads up you have been getting from people like me, then by all means continue. I'm not paid a dime to do this. I don't have a website with a bunch of ads. There is nothing to gain for me in doing this for you. I do this for the fans free of charge to make things fun (because it should be fun). I'm not doing your taxes, I am giving you soap scoops! This is one of the reasons it's rather upsetting to me when I put out an exclusive that grows legs, and runs around to every site out there without so much as a word as to where it originated from. Dates don't lie, people do, so next time you want to say that you saw it all over and it was never mine, please check the dates and compare them. At least do a little research before you speak. I don't even edit my columns for typo's past day two anymore because as Voy users know, it reflects the date and time you do this (and there's no bypassing it). In addition, I usually reinforce what I post here, by posting the same news on Facebook (and there is no editing a status update).
I'm sure that many of you have seen most of my scoops in a million places by the time the announcements come (that's why I get early rumblings that I pass on), but you might want to check some dates if you are looking for the original source of that information. You knew that Roger Howarth was coming back from me. Two and a half months later, the announcement came. I was the only one out there that told you that Trevor St.John was out (everyone else said he was staying). I told you in January that the shows were being canceled. I told you in April that GH was being cancelled by ABC. That Ingo and Tyler were out. I told you months ago that Jax would be leaving with Brenda, and that Jax would lose custody of Josslyn (before any of that had made the rounds yet). I could go on and on, but I won't. The last big one I gave you was that Kate was indeed being recast, and she was (that's not news NOW, because by the time it was finally announced, it had been discussed to death). The following is from my column dated 1/31/09 (and only two months later, Megan Ward was indeed placed on recurring):

Speaking of bad news, I did tell you that things were not looking good for Megan Ward (Kate). Hear-tell that she doesn't have too much longer to go. What will they do with the Crimson sets if this does come to pass? They are thinking of having Maxie run the ship from Port Charles with Kate back in Manhattan.
As most of you know, I told you that Tamara Braun was returning to GH, and that I was shocked by what I was told. That I was hoping to be wrong due to the nature of the news. It was then fed to me that she might be returning as Kate. This did not come from my main source, but it was the second time I had been fed this information. I let fans know that she might be returning as Kate. Obviously, I was one of those used by the show to buy themselves more time. Gotta love ABC. Tamara is returning as I originally told you before the Kate nonsense began. How they pull this off is going to be revealed here soon (I cannot believe that after all the lies ABC has told you, that you actually still believe their statements)! When will you learn gang.....
Finally, if Tamara is not returning, I would not hang my head in shame, nor would I owe you anything further. You would have to trip over the disclaimer that I put out in each and every column on the way to my scoops that makes things rather clear. Because some of you do not understand change (even when you have situations like Rebecca Herbts admitting that she was fired and then rehired at GH), I find myself having to use the terms right and wrong only. There are many things that are put on the table by ABC and later removed when they decide to take a character or a storyline in a different direction. I don't really do spoilers. I give you major casting news and early storyline scuttle, which can absolutely change. Spoilers are already shot and in the can (very little risk in putting those out there). This is another reason why I do bi-weekly columns only as there is only so much early casting news to give you each time. If I were doing regular weekly spoilers, I would do a weekly column. We are not told everything! We will not know everything! We have shows going off the air, with a game of musical headwriters and producers about to head our way as I warned you there would be, and you expect us to have everything correct IN THIS CLIMATE? Really? Seriously! If you are seeking perfection, please do not read me any longer (pssst...whispers....it's about to get worse with the transition to Prospect).....
I apologize for this lecture, but it is my column (and I have been pretty angry this past week as most of my readers know). In that vein (and only adding to the mood), I was told that a fellow columnist (Carol Banks Weber from Soapzone) has been receiving e-mails from fans asking her to drop her personal commentary, and stick to the scoops! What is going on out there! Seriously, what is wrong with some of you? How greedy, whiny, and unappreciative can you be! The sense of entitlement that some of you have is outrageous! We write these columns for free, on our own time! If we want to rant and rave or recite the Gettysburg address, we can, and you can remove that gun being held to your head and not read us! Carol has been doing this for years. If she wants to add some of her own personal commentary, she can! Some of you have become outrageous. If this seems obnoxious to you, imagine how we feel! We are not computers! We are real people with real feelings, so you are going to get commentary! If you don't like it, bye bye......(waves)...
Now that I have stopped levitating and speaking in tongues, let's get onto the latest dish (Linda Blair, eat your heart out)....................
Gossip Column Disclaimer That Will Appear In Each Column!
This disclaimer will appear each week. Please keep in mind that these are rumors, and any gossip or rumors found within, are completely unsubstantiated. I know this goes without saying for most of you, but there are many new readers out there as well. So far, my sources have been pretty darn good over the years, and I am truly grateful. It would be pointless to have a gossip column without gossip, so you will find both fact and unsubstantiated rumors within these walls. Also, please note that actors are contractually bound by gag orders. They are not allowed to reveal whether they are leaving or not, until the network gives them the green light to do so. Insisting that actors speak to rumors that involve their relationship with their respective shows, places them in a very awkward position. Please keep all of this in mind as you read my column (which will come out every other week). In addition, I can be wrong, and freely admit this. When my sources give me what they have, it's what they are hearing backstage at that moment in time. They are the first to admit that stories can be scrapped or rewritten, with casting decisions changing frequently. I respect their limitations, and so should you. Most of what I hear are very early rumblings, but I will keep nothing from you either way.

I also gave Facebook friends a hint when I told you that Bree Williamson was my absolute favorite followed closely by Melissa Archer. Expect Bree to wave goodbye to OLTL (really hoping she will change her mind)..............
Another body bag has just been added to the list. This one will shock all of Llanview! The aftermath will be quite the fall out. I'm hearing whispers that a very popular leading man may come to a surprise agreement with Prospect if the smoke turns into real form. Fans will be cheering like crazy. Apparently, there may have been a change of heart.
I told you months back to think WSB Port Charles when you asked me for details regarding "A Tale of Two Todd's" and here we are in the thick of it my friends. That person who is very much alive will rattle some cages out there. Just when you think you have all the answers, you are back to square one. I'm told that fans may get a shocking twist that changes absolutely everything in the 11TH hour (you wanna talk change, this story has been rewritten several times)!

Something is wrong with the water supply in Llanview (more than one bird will fly over that nest).....
I told you that Cutter had a major secret (its coming folks). Tina and Cord are back (and this gossip maven has been smiling ever since the announcement was made). Andrea Evans and John Loprieno are the reasons I began watching OLTL years ago. Fans are ecstatic over this news (and there's more to come my friends)! We are getting a few more.....!
I am being told that we may not be getting that planned finale either. Cliffhangers are the name of the game (good sign, and we need them)......
One very heated argument just took place behind the scenes, and someone VERY unexpected is out (I already told you about FL/Tea leaving, so this is not her)! Things are getting a little hot under the collar at OLTL. More going on behind the camera than in front of it!
You guys are not going to like the recasts that are coming. Few will be able to make the transition (and yes, Brian Frons still has his paws in all of this). I've said it before, and I will say it again, he is not being fired. He is being promoted! I would be happy to be wrong on this one.

That major vet is getting their walking papers come September as planned. Jason and Sam fans are going to be furious, but there is a silver lining (it's all a dream). Jason and Sam will prevail. I told you that Liz and Lucky would find their way back to one another, and what a bumpy ride it will be. A wedge comes between them (and it's not Siobhan). In my last update, I told you that Lucky would be facing those demons again. This time, the stakes have been raised. The Cassadine's are never far behind........
That game of musical producers is on its way (earthquake alert)....
Three on their way to General Hospital from current ABC shows (when they wrap, the announcements will come).
Sonny doesn't mourn for long. Can the chemistry work again? The show seems to think so. A massive favorite returns. Frons isn't smiling (but you will be)! Welcome home Laura.....
Siobhan dies, but not before a major secret makes itself known. A new Cassadine proves that they only get darker with age. This story will bring things to a head, and tie into other major stories.

Hello there...I'm a brand new reader of your column, courtesy of a post crediting you on "SoapZone".
I just read your 7/30/11 column and wow--I can tell you are a passionate person...one of integrity, one with feelings, one who is good at what they do and one who I've been looking for quite awhile! THANK YOU for what you do. I have been a fan of OLTL since almost back to day 1. I grew up watching the show as a kid with my Mother before being in school. That was the days when there were only 3 channels to choose and MOM's choice ruled. It's a shame what negativity can do. Continue to believe in what you do...and to know there are those of us out here reading who TRULY appreciate your information, your time and your sacrifice of time in what you do! Thank you so much...and take good care of yourself.

Through the years I've followed Sage, (gosh, how I miss him,) and SoapZone's Carol. It was through her site that I found you, and I'm glad that I did because you provide the fans with info and insight into their favorite television medium. I come back for your intel without fail, and always look forward to what you and Carol have to add along with those scoops. Raven, keep in mind that you have become a bit of a celebrity these days. You have everybody talking. I know it can get tough out there, but you are now in the public eye. There will be jealousy over you. I know what you are talking about. I've been to those boards. There are people who are obsessed with you. I know it can be scary and even upsetting, but don't pay them any mind. You have tons of fans who adore you out there. Ignore these silly fools. They realize that they are outnumbered, and it only serves to make them angrier. They don't have a life, you do. It's when they stop talking about you that you need to worry! Everybody who is anyone reads you! You are a rockstar! You are the queen of the soap world! Own it woman! We love you!

Raven, Don't worry about a few nasty people. You're loved and appreciated. I am very well aquainted with one of your suspects. She's a trouble maker who has been banned from multiple sites for rude, aggressive behavior. It didn't surprise me in the least to see her pop up someplace new, and spewing venom because you banned her from Fb. She's hateful.

Thank you for all that you do! I love your scoops.:) It's sad that you have to remind some "fans" that you are human too. I don't post on any message board, though I do read one every once in awhile. Just know there are many of us who support you and understand what you do isn't easy, but that you do it because you love and respect soaps. Thank you!!

I've never seen anything like it.The minute someone posts something along the lines of "Ravenbeauty's spoilers:In my own words"some break their necks getting to the keyboard to point out how 'wrong'you are,how 'wrong' you've been,and how 'wrong'you'll forever more be :( I have on several occassions,fully aware that it would spark a heated needless debate,pointed out what you've pointed out to us for years."Raven is reporting what she's been told.She tells us that things can&may change at any time" To any sane person that should be sufficient but for odd some reason it's not enough for those with an axe to grind.Me attempting to bring a bit of reason to these attack only serves to add more fuel to the "Raven's wrong"fire.I'm getting so tired of these frivolous juvenille attacks on you! I toyed with the idea of no longer reading nor posting on any message board.I've had to remove posters from my list of 'friends'.I've even had to resort to the dreaded "ignore" option. Hi Raven. I'm a long-time Soap watcher but first-time Raven commentor. Thanks so much for your updates. I read each passage with baited breath, and I have the following concerns. On OLTL, I'm a major Jolie fan. I have been waiting and watching because every spoiler has them getting back together and the Liam news finally coming out but I'm dying. It seems like its never going to happen. I hope that regardless of whether Melissa or Michael make the Prospect Park transition, they give us die-hard Jolie fans happiness, finally. The OLTL fans could us some good news. Also, on GH, your news that the Jasam fiasco is possibly a dream... Thank God! I have been so crazed thinking they are going to screw around with us again. Why can't TPTB just listen to the fans for once, and understand that we watch these soaps to escape, and to find the happy ending that eludes us in our real lives. We understand that after the wedding, there isn't always Happily Ever After but give us the dream, the weddings, the kids, the laughs. We like that too! Maybe if they had focused less on killers, mobsters, etc, the question to cancel wouldn't even have been entertained. Thanks Raven. We are all behind you. Please please please continue your magic.

Yes it is sad about negative people...I won't let them ruin my fun...that is their intent. ugh ,I guess that is why I cannot get along with message board posters that hate on John/Natalie. I won't arue. They get mad lol

Those two hags at SoapCentral are nothing more than scorned unfriended little drama queens that need a life. Prometheus and Covergirl want yours, but they can't have it. Everyone sees them for who they are. As for that complete psychopath Forgivenessfreak, he's totally obsessed with you! Believe me, we all know how crazy that dude is! He can't even control himself over you! LOL!

I can see why you walked away from your job at SoapCentral. If I had a boss who was that unsupportive, and allowed people like Forgiveness-Man to terrorize me day in and day out, I wouldn't have stuck it out as long as you did. That was abuse and should have been addressed. SOC is a known cesspool these days because they have allowed these people to grow and fester without addressing the deeper issues. Removing their posts is not the answer. They have driven many people away. Driving you away should have been a wake up call for that site. I can assure you that most boards do not talk about you negatively except for SOC. Water seeks it's own level. That's why they they hang out there. As for Forgiveness-Man, he is a very lonely, disturbed, man who sits at home all day and night posting on message boards. It's all he has going in his life. He is jealous of you because you have so many fans and supporters. You are the writer he wishes he could be. His fan fiction is terrible. It's very poorly written. He has been trying to promote himself for years and nobody pays him any mind (another reason he hates you). He's not a healthy individual. He does appear to have some sort of obsession over you. He hijacks every thread at SOC, and makes it a discussion about you. Most of us see him for what he is. I pity him and so should you.
You have 4000 fans at facebook alone. Who cares about a few miserable, jealous, and pitiful people out there who need to put someone like you down to lift themselves out of the sewer. You keep shining like the diamond you are. You are a gifted writer and make things fun and exciting for us. You are a true princess. We don't care how many you get right or wrong. We are just grateful to have you, and every morsel you are able to give us, is a gift. Thank you for all the many gifts you have given us over the years.

I crack up reading them ranting and raving about her day and night and calling her out for ranting in her own column (but they rant and rave about her every single day)! Then she tells them to not read her because she is going to say what she wants to say, and they still can't stop reading her and complaining! They are that absorbed in her that even though it pisses them off, they can't stop reading her! Too freaking funny. SOC has gotten bad. Really loopy over there. All the crazies in one place.
I think INeverForgiveCrapMan must have been spurned by her or something. He probably beats off to her pictures day and night. He's definitely obsessed! We are the ones who need the forgiveness! A freak! LMAO!

WRONG OR RIGHT IT DOESNT MATTER (even though mostly right) lol
The fact of the matter is the soaps are entertainment a chance to get away and you are awesome enough to take the time to write this stuff for us give us clues to get us thinking and provide us with that little extra enjoyment factor. As a matter of fact you make soaps more enjoyable and the columns you provide for me are just like reading the sports section both entertaining both full of fact opinions and predictions.
Please keep doing what you are doing for as long as you can do it nobody does it better and anyone that tries only pales in comparison and anybody that knocks you and tries to out scoop you is only jealous and is trying to get to where you are the easy way!!
We all love and appreciate what you do and if soaps truly do die one day I will miss your column almost more than the actual soap cause even when a soap was having a lull or a blah period your column is what would keep us in the loop and give us something to look forward too.

I've heard Michael E.KNIGHT is retiring (AMC)as sad as that is, I hope not Michael Easton..although I would understand with a new baby.
I think one of the the OLTL outs is Hilary B.Smith Nora (heated argument) I think...or Robin Strasser she's not a happy camper.
Raven when you mentioned WSB (GH) I thought the tale of two Grants....Grant turning out to be not-Grant but changing his name etc. Real Grant being evil. Could TrevorTodd be Todd I see many scenario's now after thinking on the Grant story (GH)Fans may want to look up that story if they don't know it. ;)
GH: Tamara has to be nuKate if not someone will yank the rug out from under us and have a Sonny/Carly re-re-re-do . I think it will be Sonny/Kate. Gotta be one or the other lol

Well Frons certainly wouldn't be happy with a Genie Francis return and the new guy (Wolf) wouldn't dare to do a Laura recast, would he? Seems like that is just asking for trouble. I wonder if Y&R would let Genie tape for GH?
There have been rumors on other cites that TG is out. I'm wondering if that means that the major GH vet actress that is out is Tracey?? It's not like there are that many female vets left. He seems to be writing for NLG so I doubt it's her.

I've been reading your blog for a while now and although I don't ever comment, I just want to add my voice to the many others and says that we really do appreciate all the work you do for us and to not bother with the hateful ones. Trolls are everywhere, and they are usually people with little self-esteem that find solace in tearing people down by being anonymous, thanks to the internet. Do not give them power by going away.
We love your scoops and regardless how they turn out, 99.9% of us out there understand that these are show with revolving stories, and things can always change at the last minute. I read Carol every week and I love her personal input. I also really miss Sage, who if I recall, stopped scooping because he had to tend to his sick mother (anyone remembers?).
Keep on scooping Raven!

I am a fairly new reader of your site and I must say being a spoiler junkie I appreciate any insight into the future of GH you share with us and the time you take out of your personal life to do it.
I think its ridiculous to expect ANYONE who does not speak on ABC's behalf to be even 80% accurate with inside information especially with what is happening on the soaps now. My father who is now deceased used to say, "If someone gives you something for free, keep quiet, however, if you have to pay for it, don't be afraid to open your mouth". People who are quick to bad mouth you for inaccuracies should keep that in mind.
It appears to me that you have touched hundreds of peoples lives in a positive way and they, yours. The hate mongers on the net are seen for who they are, and so are you.

Raven B., life is about the punches. I think the thing I admire about you most is your honesty. Most of us keep our hurt/anger/frustration to ourselves. You put it all out there. What's amazing is that as a soap insider, you catch hell based on what you report. It's really simple. You give us the news, and we enjoy. Hi Raven- just want to thank you for posting whatever info you get for us. While I'm not happy with the direction of the ABC shows, especially GH these days, I so appreciate whatever news you bring. There are so many fake insiders around these days and it's hard to know who to trust. I may not love everything you say (and I certainly know things can change on a dime) but I know that you only report what you've heard from your reliable sources.

Sorry you're getting so much flack. For what it's worth, there are TONS AND TONS of us out here, who really do appreciate what you do and in no way believe that changes in the game would be ANYONE'S fault, let alone yours. Sometimes and believe me it hurts to say, these people need to read a good book and stay off the net. It's only the unstable that would make any of this into more than it really is.
Having said all that, I just read something from CBW that I don't recall seeing here (and I admit, I am a newbie, so it's completely possible that either I missed it or it was said before I became a fan). She said that KeMo was leaving. When you hinted to the two big exits...I guess I figured Tony & Jonathan - I didn't think that JJ ever intended to stay forever, but it looks like CBW is saying that it's KeMo and JJ. Have you heard the same? Did she get this from you (raised eyebrows)?

A long time reader here. Wow, how has the internet grown since I found you years ago. I honestly don't go to many other sites. This is the one and only for me. I'm not on Facebook, so I appreciate your keeping up posting here. I love your work and look forward to your posts.
I have knowledge of these other sites, I go to them on rare occasions, however, they are all just second hand news. I like that you are not that. You don't do it much anymore, but when you had a scoop from someone else, you were always diligent about making sure that credit was given. Today it's like blood thirsty dogs out there. They want undeserved credit. I personally avoid giving certain sites any traffic no matter how tempting their headlines may be. I usually am able to find the real source of the headlines elsewhere anyway.
Keep up the great work here. I will not get a chance to defend you elsewhere, mainly because I am not a troll on those sites.
You have my respect Raven. Deserved and trusted.

I was so excited when you surprised us and came on Silas Kain's radio show! You were wonderful! That's all anyone has been talking about over the past two days! What a fabulous interview! I'm just as pleasantly confused,surprised,and shocked as I can ever remember being with OLTL or any other television show(primetime or daytime!).You told us some shocks,twists,and turns were coming but I never in a million years would've saw the twist/shock we got today(8/9/11)on OLTL. I even read the audition script you posted for 'Irene' in one of your columns and still had no idea that my jaw was going to hit the floor so hard with this one.

The ONLY thing I can add, in addition to the thanks and admiration for your spoilers and your site, is that I wish so much you would re-consider your decision NOT to cover " Young and Restless" after the ABC soaps start dropping off.
There is enough history of the show on You Tube to keep you entertained and inform you for months about the show. It's been Number One for a very long time because it has a huge following of long time viewers, much like AMC has.
When this shake up at ABC is over, it will be the best, the bright and shining star left in daytime drama on TV. I'd really love to see you right in there with the show. :)
We all have to make new friends when things in our lives change. I truly know you could cultivate CBS sources, if you can push through the hurt of losing ANC, OLTL, and GH.
Please watch some You Tube from the 80's and see what the heart of the show is about? The same major characters, starting with Katherine Chancellor and Victor Newman, are still the main characters. Most of the cast is playing a legacy character. I will be very sad to see the ABC shows leave, or go to another venue, where I will follow them, but if Y and R is cancelled, a piece of my life history since I was a young teen will go with the show.
You could add so much to the " behind the scenes" and the spoilers.. really!!!
