VIP Mini Update 6/26/11!

Hey Guys,

Hope everyone out there is having a fabulous Sunday! I wanted to give you a mini update since my column is not due out until next weekend (every other weekend, as most of you know).

I told you back in February that there would be 2 massive shake-ups behind the scenes at General Hospital that had nothing to do with the performers. I clarified this even further in a March column, still archived at my site, when I stated that Guza would be out (this is before it was announced anywhere). I revealed that the second massive shake up behind the scenes at GH that did not involve the performers, was indeed the impending exit of Jill Farren Phelps (soon to come).

I then gave fans a massive shock in a status update on my Facebook wall dated June 6th when I said that my sources had just told me that Frank Valentini was crossing over to GH to take her place (some got this mixed up with Robin Strasser's tweet regarding Ron Carlivati, which did not come from me). Two completely different scoops! I was told by several of you that my "JFP Out/Valentini In scoop" spread faster than wildfire and is now being discussed everywhere (but my readers know exactly where it originated from).

I had been waiting to hear back from my source since yesterday on something, and I just got the answer I was looking for. Get ready for a third shock because it's coming to a theater near you very soon! In my last column, I said that I had a feeling that things were about to get very interesting with Gary Tomlin now on the loose. I wanted to hear it from my personal source before going any further, and unless they decide to play a game of Musical Producers yet again, (and they may) look for Gary Tomlin to return to ABC very soon (announcement coming).

There is complete mayhem backstage right now so I hope I have this straight, but if nothing else changes on me, look for Tomlin to return to OLTL for the final months and Valentini to take over at GH as per my exclusive nearly a month ago. I have the player�s right, just not positive about the positions they will take, but I think this is a go. General Hospital is about to have an 8.9 on the Richter scale!

Oh, and as for David Fumero out at OLTL? This was an exclusive I gave you guys in early March still archived at my site for reference when I clearly said "Bye Bye Cristian" (not exactly vague, but then again neither was Tyler, Vanessa, and Ingo all out either). If any of that was vague for you, never play Charades! I won't get them all. I can be wrong, and freely admit this, but when I am right, and it came from me first, you had better believe I will shout it from the rooftops proudly and without hesitation! If that bugs you so much that it keeps you up at night, try Tylenol PM. I won't cry into my pillow over it, and neither should you.

Yes, I'm sassy but I just wouldn't be me otherwise!

Finally, please take a moment to fill out the coupons provided in the following link. I know that many of you have already done so, but some have still not budged as of yet. You are going to have to trust me when I say that as silly and pointless as they may seem to some of you right now, there is a method to the madness here. Once everything is finally revealed to you, there will be a lot of nodding and many smiles out there (there is a reason behind these coupons)! If we can get them in high enough numbers, it will be well worth the effort! There are people behind the scenes right now working their asses off to stop the bleeding and change the outcome to what has already been set in motion by ABC. If you care at all, please do not mourn and do nothing (GH fans please take the blinders off, and join in on the fight)! We have not given up and these seemingly pointless coupons have more meaning than you realize! We need to work together here!

Gossip Column Disclaimer That Will Appear In Each Column!

This disclaimer will appear each week. Please keep in mind that these are rumors, and any gossip or rumors found within, are completely unsubstantiated. I know this goes without saying for most of you, but there are many new readers out there as well. So far, my sources have been pretty darn good over the years, and I am truly grateful. It would be pointless to have a gossip column without gossip, so you will find both fact and unsubstantiated rumors within these walls. Also, please note that actors are contractually bound by gag orders. They are not allowed to reveal whether they are leaving or not, until the network gives them the green light to do so. Insisting that actors speak to rumors that involve their relationship with their respective shows, places them in a very awkward position. Please keep all of this in mind as you read my column (which will come out every other week). In addition, I can be wrong, and freely admit this. When my sources give me what they have, it's what they are hearing backstage at that moment in time. They are the first to admit that stories can be scrapped or rewritten, with casting decisions changing frequently. I respect their limitations, and so should you. Most of what I hear are very early rumblings, but I will keep nothing from you either way.

GH fans and some actors just cannot/won't believe it....unless they are giving an Ocscar worthy perfomance that is. I understand about having hope. I would love the miracle of OLTL following Days on NBC.
I unfollowed a GH actor on Twitter because of the attitude... practically screaming that GH wasn't going anywhere and other soaps be darned. I didn't appriciate it. Thats not how I roll. :)
