Just a quick drive by for my non Facebook readers. I sometimes forget to update over here as often as I do at Facebook (my apologies). This is what I left out for my readers on Wednesday, August 31, 2011....

I told you that Trevor would be out back in February (despite what you had been hearing to the contrary), and here we are. In my column from last week, I dropped yet another bombshell, and told you that we might see him back via Prospect Park. I don't know if it's too late, but despite what you might hear to the contrary, an olive branch HAS been extended. All we can do now is wait....

I also told you that nothing is what it appears to be in the death of Victor Lord. I warned you that Irene Manning would make Helena Cassadine seem like Bambi. She's into this up to her eyeballs (and she is not the only one who knows the truth). One of the "good guys" is involved as well. Give it time kids. If Trevor isn't scooped up by someone with a much better offer in the interim, look for the story to continue as planned......

In a very different vein, I left this out earlier today for all of my Facebook readers. I am reposting this here as well because this is often a very overlooked form of breast cancer. If this can save even one life, it's worth addressing....

I know this is off topic, as most of my notes are soap related, but this is a subject near and dear to my heart. Very few women are aware of a very deadly form of breast cancer called Inflammatory Breast Cancer (IBC). It is almost never seen on a Mammogram (and can be missed on an ultrasound as well). It grows in sheets on the breast and presents itself as a rash or an insect bite. By the time that women realize that this is no ordinary insect bite or rash, it has gone to stage three or four. It moves very quickly (usually within weeks).

With nearly 4000 of you out here, I thought it would help to raise awareness for this type of breast cancer. Many are completely unaware of this disease (and more and more women are getting it these days, although it still considered to be rare). Often times women are put on antibiotics because it can easily be mistaken for an infection (or Mastitis). In most cases, that's all it is (an infection or a bite) but the women who have been stricken with this form of cancer, almost always catch it too late. Please do very thorough breast exams including the skin itself. If your breast becomes red, overly warm to the touch, or swollen, you should have it evaluated immediately, Another thing to look for is what is known as "Peau D' Orange" which gives the breast an orange peel dimpled like appearance (a very well known sign of IBC).

Breast cancer can grow within the webbing of the breast itself often found growing in sheets within the skin. There may be no lumps at all (just redness, warmth, dimpling, and inflammation). If you ever have any questionable symptoms such as these, insist on an ultrasound and a biopsy if necessary. This is the only way to be sure. You will find further information below for those of you who are interested. Please pass on the word about this form of breast cancer so that women know what the signs are.....

You really are amazing. Everyone is right about you. You really are a class act. I think it's wonderful that you would use your numbers to put that information out there for women about IBC. My sister died of IBC. It went undetected for too long. Thank you for what you are trying to do. You are a beautiful women with a huge heart.

By the way, you are hitting your Facebook limit. Will they turn it into a fan page? Do you know yet? Seems like most people are posting over there anyway but you are at your limit Ravenbeauty! By the way, I love that video of you! You are so gorgeous! Thank you for all that you do for us. Silas Kain was right, you have a lot do with these shows being saved! Never forget that! We won't! Look sharp beautiful! You always do!

By the way, I have heard you mentioned on other radio programs recently! You are getting to be a huge name out there! Good for you! :)

Thanks for the update and thanks so much for all you do for us, it is greatly appreciated. I'd like to say that even though I didn't care for TSJ's version of Todd I think he is a good actor and I really liked him as Victor (my favorite was Flynn). I hope that he does sign with PP, there is potential story there for the 2 Todds for years to come.
