Subject: Update on cantering issues!

Well I am happy to report my four year old gelding is doing great cantering and almost always picking up his correct leads front and back. In fact he prefers to canter and now if I ask him to extend his trot he will go into an almost Western Pleasure canter slow as a slow trot. Now I have to teach him that when I ask him to extend the trot he needs to do just that and not canter. I'm happy though as he does very well in his canter. I have had a trainer give me and him one lesson so far and will be taking another one this week. He is also learning tricks and will mount a small pedestel with me on his back. Thanks for all the replys. I really appreciate all the advice and moral support on training issues as I am not a trainer myself and can use all the help I can get.
