Subject: Imports and micro chips

Hello,
Just an FYI, those of you who have imports....beware that the chips they use in Holland 134's cannot be read in the U.S. If the horse was chipped here in the U.S. with 125's you are okay....There have been some issues with stolen Friesians here in the states and when the owner went to verify the chip, it could not be read!!! So, please everyone who has an import....RE CHIP them!!! It could happen to any of us...it is not expensive. Protect yourself and you beloved horse!
