It seems to me that this decision should perhaps have been put to a general membership vote, either through mail ballot or the website. Only so many people can manage to attend the AGM, and those that "speak up" the most to their Reps, do not necessarily represent the opinion of the majority. Their default explanation was that the membership voted in 1994 to remove the B-Books. That was almost fifteen years ago and to me does not stand up as a default decision by the membership. FHANA has grown tremendously since then, and there are different interests that need to be addressed.

My personal opinion is that as the daughter registry, we should make all the same registration services offered overseas by the FPS available to our members, since FHANA is mostly a satellite arm of the mother registry. Yes the B-Books are not commonly used, and by principle FPS/FHANA discourages the breeding of B-Book horses, but if the choice is available in Holland I think it should be available here as well.
