'Skyclad' oil blend can be used on it's own or as a base for diluting essential oils... it's one of my favourites! :) Hemp seed oil is one of the ingredients of 'Skyclad' and adds a lovley nutty taste/smell mmmmmmmmmmm. Hemp seed oil is also great for including in your diet (unheated) or using for skin care / hair care. A remarkable oil considered to many to have the "highest and most complete profile of essential fatty acids" (the good fats) : omega 3 and omega 6 (and omega 9). "Hemp Seed Oil is a highly nutritious food, and contains anti-oxidants, protein, carotene, phytosterols, phospholipids, as well as a number of minerals including calcium, magnesium, sulfur, potassium, iron, zinc, and phosphorus. It is a source of complete protein and contains all twenty know amino acids, including the nine essential amino acids. It also contains Vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B6, C, D, and E....." As a skin care oil Hemp Seed oil will still offer you plenty of benefits as the vitamins and minerals present are easily absorbed through the skin. It has so many wonderful properties (I've only just skimmed the surface here!) I highly recommend the stuff!! [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
