Having found this website by chance, whilst looking for pagan gardening tips (lunar cycle planting tips etc!!), I am so delighted to have found such a welcoming source of information and inspiration! In some ways I'm relatively 'new' to all this, although I now realise I've been walking this path for longer than I thought!! I have really enjoyed looking through the gallery and reading some of the articles ... consequently, not much gardening has been done!!

Hi Willow, a very warm welcome to you. I hope you have many happy times here ... it is a lovely place to visit.

I too have come to realise that I have, in many ways, been walking my particular path for a long time now without knowing it.

However, when the realisation of that path finally makes itself known to you, it is truly a wonderful moment, with the knowledge that you have finally come home.

(and my garden is in need of a little TLC too! LOL)

Blessings
Rowan x

Thanks, this is certainly a good place to kick off your shoes! (and a great place to visit on a rainy sunday).

Whitewolf, your articles are very interesting and inspiring - thank you. Rowan, I know just what you mean about a feeling of 'coming home'. I have been distracted from my journey over the last year, for various reasons, but now feel that I'm getting things back in order, and I feel peaceful as a result.

I read somewhere on here that, if you're neglecting your garden, then the chances are that you're probably neglecting yourself ... how true! After a good week of 'getting my hands in the soil', I feel so much better! Nature always seems to find a way to heal your soul doesn't it.

Hi everyone, and thanks for the lovely welcome!

I was just reading about Awen's trip to stonehenge, and wondered ... do you have a favourite sacred or special site in the UK? ... one which left a lasting impression, perhaps? I would be very interested to hear your thoughts.

Hi Willow, welcome to the Garden! It's a lovely place, with lovely people and I hope you feel at home here.

Do you go to any other pagan-related forums? It's just that I know a Willow on another forum and wondered if it was you. Please don't say if you don't want to though, I'm just being nosy ;o)

To answer your question, I don't know if I could pick just one favourite sacred site, not to mention the amazing places that aren't well known but that are really moving and beautiful. I think, though, I would have to say the White Spring at Glastonbury, something about the energy there really makes me aware of something beyond the physical, if you know what I mean. Avebury also left a great impression on me, something about those ancient stones just sitting, waiting.

Blessed be.

Hi Lady Greenwood,

Thanks for the welcome and yes, I do feel at home here. Strange really, as this is the only pagan-related forum I have 'dipped my toe' into!(On that note, I hope it doesn't get too confusing when the same name crops up .. could be tricky I realise!?)

You're right about Avebury, but like you said there are also those totally inspiring places which you have discovered nearby, or which no-one else seems to have found. Sometimes they are the best places!

I have not visited Glastonbury yet, but it's on my wish list for places to take my family to this year.

Bright Blessings
Willow

Hi Willow

Don't worry, the name won't be confusing at all! It's a lovely name, I just thought I'd check because sometimes you know, it's a small world!

Bright blessings,
