Date Posted: 20/08/07 8:47 Hi Willow, welcome to the Garden! It's a lovely place, with lovely people and I hope you feel at home here. Do you go to any other pagan-related forums? It's just that I know a Willow on another forum and wondered if it was you. Please don't say if you don't want to though, I'm just being nosy ;o) To answer your question, I don't know if I could pick just one favourite sacred site, not to mention the amazing places that aren't well known but that are really moving and beautiful. I think, though, I would have to say the White Spring at Glastonbury, something about the energy there really makes me aware of something beyond the physical, if you know what I mean. Avebury also left a great impression on me, something about those ancient stones just sitting, waiting. Blessed be. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |

Date Posted: 20/08/07 9:37 Hi Lady Greenwood, Thanks for the welcome and yes, I do feel at home here. Strange really, as this is the only pagan-related forum I have 'dipped my toe' into!(On that note, I hope it doesn't get too confusing when the same name crops up .. could be tricky I realise!?) You're right about Avebury, but like you said there are also those totally inspiring places which you have discovered nearby, or which no-one else seems to have found. Sometimes they are the best places! I have not visited Glastonbury yet, but it's on my wish list for places to take my family to this year. Bright Blessings Willow [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |
