] Date Posted: 24/09/07 20:57 please keep my little ginnea pig Ronnie in your thoughts tonight.... he seems to have wasted away over the last 2 days, i got an emergancy vet appointment this evening, the vet gave him an injection to stop his runs and some glucose fluids too to keep him going.... the vet said it's one of 2 things, he either has a virus which if i give him sugary water every hour overnight , may perk him up in to eating and drinking by himself again, or it could be a congenitive disfunction, where from birth, something is missing and they get to a stage in their life when they need that 'something' to keep alive, so, their little bodies just give up the ghost.... so by the morning little Ronnie has 2 ways he could go.... he is very weak and just lays around, but he is taking his sugar water by syringe, so hopefully that will perk him up a little. i have an appointment tomorrow morning to see the vet again and going in Ronnie's condition, he will make a decision over what happens next. please keep him in your thoughts blessed be x sam x [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |

Date Posted: 25/09/07 6:17 sadly, my little ronnie passed away this morning at 0540, i had him lying on my chest wrapped up in a towel as he felt so cold, he had refused water since 3 this morning, and i had guessed by then that it was only a matter of time. he was very peaceful and just gradually stopped breathing. i will find a place in the garden today and dad will bury him with me this evening, a little tree will be placed where he lay. blessings to you all love sam x [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |
