] Date Posted: 5/06/07 15:01 In reply to: whitewolf 's message, "What's in your garden?" on 5/06/07 0:40 we are keeping our garden to a minimum this year as we are going away for 3 weeks in july/august and our neighbours are having enough to worry about what with looking after a mini farms worth of pets!! we do have a wild cornfield flower mixture just coming up in our newly 'made' bit of refurbished garden which we have dug around one of our ponds for nan and grandad and all their ornaments are there too... we hope next year to add some heathers and small minature type lillies and stuff that they liked, there's just no point this year in doing it then leaving it all to over grow and die off!! otherwise, a lot of our back garden is down to grass with various ornamental willows (salix) one for each of the cats and a 'weeping' pussy willow for sam the spaniel!! (hence s.s) we have given up on the idea of veggy garden as we have a friend who shares their home grown with us and we just don't have enough hours in the day to maintain!! i do however have a small gooseberry bush and a rhubarb patch!! love sam [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
