Just thinking... perhaps we could have a seed swap thread / section.. ? if you have too many seeds and are looking for something different, maybe a fellow Gardener would have what you're looking for... :)

Excellent idea WW. We actually kept a lot of seeds left over from last year and have replanted this year. Am pleased to say that new life is spurting out all over our garden at the moment.

Anyway, will definately join in this one next year. We had a load of onions and potatoes that we really had a job to find a home for this year. I would have been delighted to pass them on to one of the Garden folk.

BTW, I am growing some sweet peppers for the first time this year and they are looking really good. However, they are beginning to grow rather tall and it looks like they are budding right at the top of the plant. Does anyone here know if I should support them or not. I am guessing that once the fruits start to grow they may become top heavy!
