] Date Posted: 13/08/06 6:48 In reply to: Heather 's message, "GG village" on 12/08/06 20:58 I like the idea of a "green" village where people can live close (but not too close) with a communal garden to grow all the food, off grid and eco friendly...It's nice to know others think of the same thing too. I think it is the way of the future, well a sustainable one anyway. The more we share our vision, the more others will dream of it and one day it will happen. It sounds lovely... Date Posted: 13/08/06 10:27 There is a place in Wales called Teepee vaslled in llandeilo which is a green valley. Grow their own food, drink from a spring, no electric, etc etc. Only 1 car for the whole community, though the guy said in the winter they have to make supermarket trips, but it's a mile to get to the nearest parking for the car, so they bring it all bqack in whyeelbarrows! It looked cool. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |
