In reply to: zenwind 's message, "Lunar/Chinese New Year" on 13/02/07 22:11

ohh this was great. I was born in the year of the pig.. and have taken up quite an interest in reading about it recently so it was nice to come across this.

"fire over water" it conjured up so many wonderful images for me. (typical piscean lol)

and i really liked....

it is now time for the Pig to "furnish" said castle , making it a comfortable, cozy place of safety and security. Occupying the life palace of home and family life with the Dog, the Pig proceeds to complete what the Dog has laid foundations for.

thats sooo nice because ive just moved into my house. and im well.. furnishing it!!! making it a safe and happy place for harry to grow. how great.

anyway thanks for that, I have been reading into feng shui, the relevance of pa kua numbers etc etc its all gotten a little over my head but im finding it really interesting.

so many things have corresponded though. my auspicious direction being nouth west. and I did a meditation the other day by a river, and had a name of a goddess come to me. thetis.. now i cant say to know much about her so i came home and read..that North-East section of the wheel of Brigid ana (the wheel used in glastonbury by the priestesses of avalon mainly) well that section that is my auspicious area on the feng shui pa kua, and is actually sacred to the time of Imbolc to the goddess Bridgit and Kernababy and Thetis! These goddesses also being linked to the swan, snake, wolf and the cow.

again linked me to my name jadewolf.. aww i love it when things all start linking. makes me feel just connected.

anyway ermm Zen yeah i got totally sidetracked there. but to me the i ching, chinese astrology, and all those things that started just from me wanting to re arrange my living room... have shown me a lot of insights that i might not of other wise learnt.

i shall keep up to date on here with any other info you fancy posting!!
