good evening all, or day time depending on where you are.

Just recently I have had the bug to make something, only I dont know what to make?

how many of you in here are quite arty? ... well im not lol.

But.. i have got some clay, some paints, glue, papers, sparkly things, craft cards, and all sorts here, ready for inspiration to hit.. and it just keeps missing me

I want to make something that harry can join in with as well at the weekend.

preferably something for ostara as well.... so ermm is anyone feeling arty or like to offer some suggestions or some pagan sites for arts and crafts??

oooooh lovely!! If I wasn't so sleepy I would love to chat arty crafty things... but alas I must try and stay sleepy so I can get an early night, otherwise I'll get all excited by crafty ideas, suddenly perk up and that'll be it, I'll be up all night lol!
So in the meantime....
The following site isn't typically Pagan but full of crafty projects and ideas and even has a 'recycled material crafts' section - looks fun and hopefully inspiring :)

Hello Jade

I have recently started quilling and made a couple of greetings cards now, which I must say aint that bad at all.

Quilling is really easy - fiddly, but easy. It is relatively inexpensive - all you need are some thin paper strips and a bit of glue. The kids can get involved really easily too and will love it. You can pick up lots of ideas from the internet - just key in quilling and see what comes up. You dont just have to make cards, you can make pictures, gift tags, decorate boxes or even eggs.

Happy crafting.

Lil

Well i've started making my own candles lately. mostly for ritual but very relaxing and certainly cheaper than buying them.

Why not create your own bathsalt, with your favourite herbs and oils. Right now Im in a period of making wonderful cards with flowers. And also my own amazing potpourri.

hmm potpourri that sounds good what do you use in yours?

i like making bath salts but im indundated with stuff like that, as well as soaps, bathbombs and lip salves lol. i went a bit mad a while ago. but i make those to sell.

i just was looking for something for my 5 year old boy and me to do that was fun and effective and easy. i like the wax crayon stain glass window effect things you can do with grease proof paper and a iron thats quite cool.

actually i guess i could make those and then cut out a hole in the card and make it more like a little stained glass card.. hmm ok now my inspiration has come back yay.. lol thanks you lot

Hi again !

Well, I use a lot of herbs and flowers in my potpourri.
And also sometimes other gifts from the Nature. For example, in my Love potpourri, I use roses, orrisroot, rosemary, lavendel, jasminflowers and oil.

Blessings

Wildflower

I draw, I paint, I shade.
I weave wood, I make tinctures, tonics and potions.
Have been doing poultices recently.

That's about all tbh.
