If your looking for a folk-style remedy, you could try placing some rosemary and thyme herbs under your bed... As you yourself have mentioned, you have been going through a rough patch, it's not surprising that you've been experiencing disturbed sleep / bad dreams.... but it WILL get better (((hugs))) ditto the mirror bit from Sam, I can't sleep with mirrors facing the bed... we generally don't have mirrors in our bedroom, and if I sleep away and there's a mirror facing the bed I'll cover it over or turn it away from the bed.
