Diney, good for you for working towards having Dan honored in these ways. In the city I live in we have a statue of Stevie Ray Vaughn. It's on a major hike and bike trail that runs along the Colorado River (or Lady Bird Lake...it's the same thing through this area), and I've been stopped several times by folks who are visiting and who want to find the statue. WOW! That is so awesome! Thanks for sharing that! And, thanks for the kind words.

As far as putting the Fall Family Festival together at Glen Oak Park, I had nothing to do with that...other than offering my memorabilia for showing. Its put on by Live Music Peoria...have you seen the website which gives all the details?
